It mines and processes rock phosphate on Christmas Island — an Australian Territory, which sits in the Indian Ocean roughly 1,550 km north-west of the Western Australian mainland and about 350 km south of Java.
First established in 1990, Phosphate Resources Ltd was the result of the community joining together in a fight to sustain its existence, and that of four generations of Christmas Islanders. Risking everything, the community put their own savings and sweat into creating a new company. Their success ended three years of shutdown for Christmas Island's phosphate mine, and continued a rich mining legacy which started in 1891.
Today, PRL Group has grown from its humble origins to become an integrated and diversified business with interests in Mining, Fertilisers and Other.

Liven Agrichem Pte Ltd
Founded in Singapore in 2000, Liven Agrichem Pte Ltd is an internationally renowned physical trading company in chemical fertilisers — with over 25 years of experience spanning nitrogen, phosphate, and specialty products across global markets.
The company has been an active participant in China's urea export market since the early 2000s, and holds exclusive marketing rights for Ammonium Sulphate from its Ningbo, China production facility.
Operating across 10+ countries, the team is multilingual, multidisciplinary, and built on deep relationships with suppliers, customers, banks, and logistics providers spanning Southeast Asia, China, the Middle East, and Latin America.
